I took this picture of a Magnolia bud from the tree in front of my house after the sun went down. I then adjusted the lighting and color to make the photo look more “low key.” I also used photoshop to remove the ant that was crawling up the largest petal.
I took this picture at the end of May while staying at the Long Boat Key Club and Resort. For my Sky Overlay challenge, I added a moon from my own collection of moon photos. It was my first time trying to do a sky overlay. I watched a few YouTube videos and tried to follow the tips of fellow bloggers but still had trouble getting the box around the moon to go away. I finally gave up and adjusted the opacity as a way to blend the photos.
Here is one last photo from our Memorial Day Weekend at our cottage at Bear Lake Reserve in North Carolina. I wish I knew the story of this old truck but I don’t. It is locate in our development so I am hoping one of my neighbors will eventually fill me in.
